We are honoured to bring to your attention the upcoming official annual Aikido seminar of Hombu Dojo, Tokyo (Japan) in India, conducted by 7th Dan Sensei – Irie Yoshinobu Shihan.
Aikido is a classical Japanese martial art rooted in the Samurai tradition, emphasising harmony of energy (Ai–Ki) rather than conflict. Its techniques are deeply influenced by samurai sword movements, cultivating balance, awareness, and peaceful resolution through precise body alignment and intent.
Hombu Dojo, Tokyo, Japan is the world headquarters of Aikido and the spiritual centre of the art. Training under instructors directly connected to Hombu Dojo represents the highest standard and authenticity of Aikido practice worldwide.
December 12th - 21st (Pondicherry: Dec 12th - 18th, Chennai: Dec 19th - 21st)
Aikido is a traditional Japanese martial art (Budo) developed from Samurai fighting techniques, emphasising harmony of energy - "Ai.ki", to overcome adversity.
Davinder Bath Sensei, 7th Dan Aikikai, a second generation student of the founder of Aikido (Morihei Ueshiba) and chief instructor of London Aikikai, London, UK, will be back to the Pondicherry Aikikai Dojo! This is a rare occasion in Pondicherry & India to learn and discover Aikido. Do not miss this opportunity to train with a preeminent teacher. He is also the technical guide and mentor of our dojo!
Open to all: 15+ yrs (women & men). It is common for juniors & seniors, women & men to train together - age is no bar if you would like to learn. Beginners are welcome.
